2024 Call for Proposals
The NAVUB Conference Commission invites you to start thinking about professional proposals for conference workshops and best practice presentations at the annual conference.
Suggested topics include the following:

Successful Retention Strategies

Conflict Resolution
-
Time Management
-
Research and Internship Opportunities Counseling Strategies for Veteran Students Seamless Transitioning into College

TRIO Legislation and Regulations
-
Community Partnerships
-
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
-
Quality of Design
-
Technology Strategies for Veterans Intrusive and/or Holistic Advising
-
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Activities

Perhaps you may have another topic that would be of benefit!
Workshop Sessions will last approximately 60 minutes.
Best Practice Presentations will last approximately 30-45 minutes.
Proposals must be submitted in electronic form, Microsoft Word document or PDF file. All Proposals are requested by March 1, 2024 and should be submitted to Dr. John Woods at jwoods@pensacolastate.edu. Conference presenters will be notified in time for pre-conference coordination and printing of the conference program.
Please use the form below to submit your proposal and include the names, email addresses and telephone numbers of all presenters in your proposal, a short description (1/2 page) of the workshop topic to be presented, and your target audience. Include NAVUB Conference Workshop Proposal in the subject line of the email when you submit. All workshop session rooms will be set up in lecture style, a computer, projector, and WiFi will be accessible.
